Boost Bank, a rapidly expanding digital financial institution in Nigeria's fintech ecosystem, is looking for a target-driven Business Development Specialist. This role focuses on acquiring and growing online merchants for Boost Bank's innovative payment solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of B2B Business Development or Sales experience, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, or e-commerce.
- Experience in online merchant acquisition, payment gateway, or payment solutions is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Nigeria's digital payment ecosystem, merchant onboarding, and online payment collection.
- Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to independently develop business.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with sales and transaction-volume targets.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and familiarity with Nigeria's e-commerce and online merchant ecosystem is an advantage.
