The NNPC in Partnership with Renaissance Africa Energy is welcoming applications for its 2026 postgraduate Overseas Scholarship Scheme from eligible Nigerians. This fully funded opportunity allows Nigerians to study master’s degrees in the UK.
Requirements
- be indigene of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, or Rivers State
- be aged between 21 and 28 years by 30th September, 2026
- Hold, or expect to hold before programme commencement, a degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second-Class Honours degree
- Have completed NYSC by September 2026
- Hold a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or meet the chosen university’s English language requirements
- Have received a formal admission offer for one of the approved courses before applying for the scholarship
- Possess a Nigerian international passport valid until at least December 2027
- Not have previously studied in the UK or another developed country

To apply for the 2026 Renaissance Africa Energy Postgraduate Overseas Scholarship, first secure admission for one of the eligible courses at Newcastle University, University of Aberdeen, or Robert Gordon University. Then, apply for the scholarship through the respective university. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
