Kenex Konsults International is hiring a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer in Lagos. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side components of web applications, including building reliable APIs, managing databases, implementing application logic, and ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of web systems. Candidates should have a minimum of HND qualification and 2 years of entry-level experience.
What you need
- HND or relevant certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 years as a Back-End Developer or in a similar software development role.
- Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language, such as Python, PHP, Java, or JavaScript with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of database design, management, and optimization.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, cybersecurity, and data protection principles.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, testing, and debugging tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Fluent in English.
