About this opportunity

Automaark, a technology and growth company, is seeking a Backend Engineer to build software, AI systems, and marketing infrastructure for clients. You will work on various client products, moving between engagements.

What you need

Several years writing production backend code in TypeScript or a comparably typed language, with real ownership of features.
Comfortable with relational databases past ORM defaults: reading a query plan, knowing why an index helps, having debugged a real race condition.
Attention to detail. Begin your answer to the backend problem question in the form with the word Ledger.
Experience with event-driven or queue-based systems, and a working instinct for sync versus async.
You write tests because you've been burned by not having them.
You can read someone else's code, find the actual bug, and explain it clearly
Comfortable moving between different codebases and client contexts.
