About this opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join a growing fintech and digital technology startup! We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Engineering to lead the engineering function, drive technology execution and oversee the development and performance of secure, scalable digital platforms.
What you need
- Minimum of 10 years' software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in engineering leadership.
- Proven experience delivering high-availability platforms, preferably within fintech, banking, digital payments or telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing, switching, tokenisation and card scheme integrations.
- Working knowledge of CBN technology regulations, PCI DSS, NDPA and ISO 27001.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP), microservices, APIs and DevSecOps.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud, security or architecture certifications are an added advantage.
